For my shoe box design I decided to create something every one would have a use for.
For this I have looked at design a shoebox, which looks similar to a draw and once the shoes have been removed can also be used to store paper. One the draw bit is removed the hollow box had perforated edges which can be ripped off to create a slanted corner and in the draw part of the box are to slots which slot into the hollow part to create 3 different divides to store paper.
I like the draw idea for displaying the shoes in, and very nice planning for the paper storage containers, well thought out. It rules out the need to by these folders separately.
ReplyDeleteCan it continuously slot together with new shoe boxes?
Have you thought about what this will be made out of?
Really simple yet clever.effective idea. Something i'd actually probably use.
ReplyDeleteSketches are diagrams give a clear indication of how it works. My thoughts were actually similar to the above comment really, if you could possibly construct and add more boxes onto eachother.
Some good initial ideas Vishnu.. While the container idea looks like it could be expanded and refined, I do think that the wider range of research shown/linked-to on some of the other blogs helps the student to see/think broader and cleverer.. I'd suggest making sure that you link very clearly to elements of research from here onwards - this is hugely important in yr 3.. A good start though..
