New Front Design

Here is the new packing front I have decided to go with after looking at the front of the one shown below I found the image of the star was to out of place and that the logos didn’t really work in the middle.

Here I have now decided to go with the logo next to each other and the packaging also explains what is included with a small chunk of text explaining what come with the package I think this design look much more cleaner and easier to the eye and would stand out on a shop shelf.

Final Packaging Print Front Modification

For the front of my packaging I had forgot to inform the buyer that they would receive beer mats and the inside could be used as a photo frame so I have taken the design back into illustrator to re work this I also found the text which was written in the middle was white and not the wye valley cream this also need to be changed.

With the above design i found that the star looked very out on the packaging so i went back to designing.

Final Packaging Print

Shown here are my final packaging print designs as shown I have gone for a simple yet stylish look which is simple and eye catching from the front there are still some modifications so make of the front at it needs to inform the buyer the package come with beer mats and a photo frame. However the back of the packaging I think is at a stage where it is complete it has a guided on the back to show all the different beers done by the brewery and the sweetness and bitterness also explains the look smell and taste. As on my beer mat I used a QR code I though this would be a good idea to be place on the back of the box too, each QR code take the user directly to the website of either Legges or the brewery. The packaging also contains the right logos to show that it is recyclable and made of recycled materials.

Beer Mat Design

The final packaging on the inside will have a wooden effect this will also then be visible on the beer mat which have been created for the brewery my packaging will consist of three beer mats I have also decided to use a QR code on the beer mate so buys with smart phone will be able to visit the brewery’s website.

As shown on the image the QR coded is quiet small and with the background being dark and the QR code being black I have tested this to make sure it all still works.

Photo Frame Idea

For my packaging I wanted to use a photo frame as one of it second uses for this I would cut the card off the bottom and fold the handle section to create a stand fro the frame the user would then insert a standard sized photo. Shown here is a example which I have done on my old prototype as you can see the frame stands and has a card place in at the front acting as a photo.
